In the spring, white water canoeists and kayakers take on the Mad River which, fed by melting mountain snows, lives up to its name. During the summer, paddlers head for Blueberry Lake or enjoy guided trips on nearby lakes and rivers booked through local outfitters. Canoes and kayaks can be rented locally.
