The Long Trail provides dedicated hikers and backpackers with the opportunity to summit three of Vermont’s 4000 foot peaks, while the Mad River Path trail system and miles of gravel roads provided equally scenic but less demanding going. Interpretive walks, which provide insight into the area’s plant and animal life, are conducted throughout the year.
